Suzanne Dutcher

ARTIST STATEMENT

Suzanne is a Colorado native. She has an interior design degree from the Sheffield School of Design of New York. 

Creating an old forgotten object into a work of art is her passion. Most of the pieces shown in her art gallery are made of silver, and are also antiques. Each object is painted with a background color before she applies her art work. The inside of her pieces are left natural so that they can safely be served from. 

Each piece is individually designed and hand painted. The sets, or object can be provided by Suzanne, or she can custom design something that you already own. This technique can be a wonderful way to bring a family heirloom back to life. Her work is considered functional art. All of the pieces are signed, dated and numbered. The finished products make perfect decorative objects in areas such as: dining buffets, tea wagons, kitchens, coffee tables, on top of pianos, book shelves, bedrooms, bar areas, businesses etc. Her services make wonderful gifts as well. Each piece sold comes packed in a beautiful damask, padded box.
