Event Rental

THE EVENT SPACE

Q: Where is your gallery?

A:  Artwork Network Gallery and Event Center is located at 878 Santa Fe Drive in Denver, Colorado.  We're right on the corner of 9th and Santa Fe in Denver's Art District on Santa Fe.  You can't miss us!

Q: What is the guest capacity?
A: The main gallery can comfortably seat 150 for a seated dinner, with an additional 50 in the rear gallery.  Otherwise the standing capacity is 400.

Q: How many events do you have going on at once?
A: If you book just the main gallery, there is a chance we may simultaneously book an additional event in the rear gallery.

Q: How tall are your ceilings?
A: Ceiling height in the main gallery is 13 feet and 4 inches.

Q: How late can music be played?
A: Music may be played as late as your contract states.  If there is a band, DJ, or music at the event, the renter is responsible for monitoring and maintaining legal noise levels at all times within the guidelines set forth in the City of Denver’s Noise Ordinance Chapter 36 "Noise Control," section 38-89 “Disturbing the Peace and 38-101 "Prohibited Noises."

Q: What are the window measurements of the main gallery?
A: The window measurements are:
South Windows on Santa Fe Drive: 17 feet wide by 13ft 4 inches tall
Middle Main Entrance Door/Windows: 9 feet wide by 13 4 inches tall
North Windows on Santa Fe Drive: 17 feet wide by 13ft 4 inches tall
Northwest Window on 9th Street: 20 feet wide by 13ft 4 inches tall
1st North Brick Wall Small High Window: 3 ft. 6 inches wide by 4ft 6 inches tall
(or 13.4 if pipe/drape from floor)
2nd North Brick Wall Small High Window: 3 ft. 6inches wide by 4ft 6 inches tall
(or 13.4 if pipe/drape from floor)
East Glass Hall Entrance: 5 foot wide by 8 feet tall


PAYMENT INFORMATION

Q: What are the deposit requirements for the rental?
A: The venue requires a 50% deposit upon agreement. The remaining 50% is due 60 days prior to your event.

Q: What is the cancellation policy?
If the event is cancelled by the renter more than 60 days before the event, 50% of the total rental fee (deposit) will be retained by Artwork Network.  If an event is cancelled less than 60 days prior to the event, the full rental fee shall be charged.


Q: Is insurance required?
A: Yes, event insurance is required, and prices begin at $100.  We recommend www.theeventhelper.com.



SETUP & VENDORS

Q: How much of my 8 hour rental will be for set-up and clean-up?
A: 2 hours are set aside for set-up and 1 hour for clean up.

Q: Is there a clean-up charge?
A: The clean-up charge is included in the package price.

Q: Would we be able to bring in our own caterer, and what are the rules/regulations?
A: We have a strong Preferred Caterer list.  These caterers work in our venue often, and they know the space and our rules and regulations.  We do allow outside catering for an additional $250.

Q: What are the rules and regulations for alcohol?
A: All of our preferred caterers have licensed bartenders.  We also recommend Bartenders & More.

Q: Will a member of the Gallery staff be present?
A: A member of the staff will be on site during the entire event.



Weddings

Q: How many weddings do you book in a day?
A: We book 1 wedding during the day and 1 in the evening.

Q: Can we have our ceremony at your location? Have you had one there before?
A: Yes!  More than 50% of our receptions also held the ceremony in our venue.

Q: Is there a separate charge to have the ceremony there?
A: There is no extra charge. If you feel you may run short of time, you may add 1 extra hour on top of the package, for a flat $250.

Q: Is there a cost for a rehearsal time? Do you provide time for a rehearsal?
A: We charge $150 for a 1 hour rehearsal on the night before your wedding date. These are usually scheduled between 4-5pm (time finalized 15 days prior) and are very casual, as the gallery is still open for business.

Q:  Can I rent a work studio at your location?
A:  Of course!  Artwork Network offers artists a great opportunity to be in a creative environment with lots of foot traffic.  Check out our studio rental page for more information, or give us a call at 800.668.9522.
