| October 9, 2008: ARTWORK NETWORK’S ENHANCED WEBSITE CLICKS WITH ARTISTS AND BUYERS
(Denver) Artists are like any other small business owners. They have to market themselves and their product in order to make a living. The internet is a crucial place to have a presence, and for some that can be a daunting and, at times, expensive proposition. Artwork Network addresses that struggle for artists and galleries by providing an affordable place for them to show and sell their work online. The business and website, originally launched 4 years ago has been continually growing and there was a need to provide expanded services for members, and make the site easier to navigate for buyers. As a result, Artwork Network has just launched an enhanced website at www.artworknetwork.com. “For some artists we are their main web presence. For others we are an additional part of their overall marketing strategy as a compliment to their own personal site” said Alan Kircher, Founder and CEO. “Since we are also a full network of collectors, design professionals and businesses, artists can be confident that their artwork will be viewed by the right market.” Compared to some other art-related sites on the web, the Artwork Network’s site presents its artists work in an uncluttered, professional atmosphere that is easy for buyers to navigate. With our improved website you can: • Search for art by type, media, subject, price or keyword • Navigate artist galleries easier with slideshows and a cleaner layout • Find an event or showing hosted by Artwork Network or our members • See a record of what artists work has sold for with our new archive pages • Easily access information about Artwork Network on our new press page • Find us on Google with our highly search engine optimized site (SEO). Not only does Artwork Network currently provide a continually updated web presence for their 60 plus member artists and 5 gallery members, they also take care of driving buyers to the site. The website currently receives on average 100,000 page views per month and is working on raising that number everyday with the launch of the new site. Artwork Network is currently seeking new members. For more information contact Alan at 303.388.7420 or go to www.artworknetwork.com. September 18, 2008: ARTWORK NETWORK BRINGS OPPORTUNITIES FOR ART TO SCOTTSDALE, BUSINESSES & ARTISTS TO BENEFIT FROM SERVICE (Scottsdale) New opportunities are being created for art in Scottsdale thanks to Pam and Julie Gieringer, who are expanding the Denver-based company, Artwork Network to Arizona. Artwork Network is a thriving association of artists, designers, galleries, collectors, and businesses who work together to display and sell original art. A launch party will be held on Sunday, November 2 from 4-8 pm at 5211 E Arroyo Rd in Paradise Valley. Artists, design professionals, business owners and art lovers are invited to view a selection of artwork and learn about the wide range of art-related services they have to offer. Artwork Network was started in 2003 as a response to the widening gap between businesses needing original art and the local artists who create it. With their rotation service Artwork Network, locates, delivers and installs art for restaurants, salons, banks, hotels, and other business. Frequently business owners want a dynamic and creative public environment but do not have the time or know-how to manage an art rotation program on their own. The goal is to simplify this process for them while also benefiting local artists. The art on rotation is available for sale and comes from over 80 member artists who also have online portfolios on the Artwork Network website. The website service allow the artists to market and sell their work nationally, while the rotation service creates local visibility. The mother and daughter team have backgrounds in interior design and education. Julie spent last year in Denver where she connected with her cousin, Alan Kircher, the creator of Artwork Network. "I saw how this concept was successful in Denver and am excited to bring affordable original art to businesses in Scottsdale." Said Julie, "I think my mom's background in interior design is the perfect compliment." They are currently seeking local Scottsdale artists to become members of Artwork Network, as well as businesses who would like original art in their spaces. Artists who sign up before November will be able to showcase their work at the launch party. Artwork Network also works with design professionals and individuals providing art sales, consulting, leasing, installation & delivery and brokerage.
