Opening reception is Friday, Nov 16th, 6:30 - 9:30pm July - August 2012 It’s a narrative of sorts: three old friends from Los Angeles are brought together again by a Denver gallery. Artists Tadashi Hayakawa, Michael Moon, and maxwellvision share a two-month long exhibit in the very place they reconnected. Intertwined by their work and friendship, the exhibit is a collaborative demonstration of the three artists' spiritual exploration of texture, line, and color. Phil Bender, Denver’s friendliest hoarder, features an array of wooden objects displayed in simple patterns in an effort to examine the everyday in an uncommon light. Self-proclaimed ‘painter chaotica’, Curt Fowler uses his abstracts to expresses how chaos can appear harmonious. Fowler’s abstracts create an interesting juxtaposition with Bender’s organized objects.
